Kara Emily Krantz

BIO

Kara Emily Krantz is a director, playwright, and photographer from Sturbridge/Worcester, MA. She earned an MA in Counseling Psychology from Assumption and an MFA from NHIA (under Buzz McLaughlin). She has penned six full-length plays, including All Bark, No Bite and inValidated (a two-time O'Neill Semifinalist). Her screenplay, Grace Note was a Storypros International Winner and her short play, "Recess", recently won People's Choice at the Brisk Festival in Los Angeles (starring Kyle Secor).

She was previously the the Theater Teacher and Director at Worcester Academy and specialized in guiding students to own and develop their own unique, powerful, magical voices.

Currently, Kara is focused on her writing and coaching career, and spending as much time as possible with her stupid little dogs.
